A Journey To Forever: Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera Wedding

By  | 7 years ago

A lot of people have anticipated the wedding of this so-called ‘Royal Couple’ Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.

At last, the anticipation has finally been put to rest, last December 30, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, the wedding finally took place.

If you’re wondering why the couple chose to that cathedral, they said that they wanted to tie the knot in a place where they both have meaningful memories in it.

Dingdong then revealed that he was baptized in that church and it is one of those many churches where they go together.

Since the celebrity couple has been in the business for quite a while already, you’d only expect that their wedding would also be star-studded.

And yes, it is. It’s like a red-carpet show which consists of the brightest stars in the television.

Not to mention Dingdong’s best man, none other than the President itself, Benigno Aquino III.

There were more or less 700 famous personalities in the wedding.

It wouldn’t be named the wedding of the year if it’s that simple, right?

But here’s a more exciting thing about the wedding, the cake. Yes, you’ve got it right! They’ve got a super huge cake which took 10 people just to merely transport it.

The wedding cake is 12-foot long, weighing 120 kilograms.

Not just that, it was made with Swarovski Crystals. It’s simply a ‘WOW’. What an enormous cake for an enormous wedding personality.

Because of the magnificent cake, made by Goldilocks, a fast food bakeshop endorsed by Dingdong, it has gained attention not just locally but also internationally.

It even made up into the US headlines which is just not that surprising because the Dingdong-Marian Wedding cake is said to be the largest wedding cake of all time.

Can you imagine that, it’s really dashing.

After all the preparations and everything, the thing that mattered most is the couple, their love for each other.

That’s what weddings are ought to be, a celebration of love and a start of a life-long journey with the love of your life.

Best wishes to the newly-wed couple.

May they have a happy and bountiful life ahead.
