Love Wins! Controversial and Cyberbullied Hand-Holding Thai-German Gay Couple Gets Married
Do you still remember the Thai-German gay couple whose photo went viral online? Well, they already tied the knot!
The photo of the gay couple, holding hands while riding the train, had drawn mixed reactions from the online community.
Some expressed their support for the couple calling it a sign of true love and gender equality, while some called it like some sort of insanity, specifically pointing out the looks of the Thai compared to his German boyfriend.
After few days of silence (after the photo went viral), One of the couple decided to voice out his feelings via Instagram. He said:
“I’m not a famous actor nor a public person who knows how to handle criticism… I’m just ME.
We’re just another average couple working hard to get to be together.”
In spite of the criticisms and harsh words they got online, the couple remained together and stayed strong in the name of love.
And to show the world that the feelings they have for each other is indeed true, they decided to get married and recently tied the knot in a same-sex wedding ceremony.
Nararuj “Mond” Kaendi and his German boyfriend, Thorsten Middelhof, got married in Aachen, Germany.
Congratulations to the loving couple!

Yes, congratulations to them and I hope they have a very happy future together. I don’t think any of us would be too pleased if we were suddenly pushed into the limelight like that – glad they dealt with it so well.

I love this story. Never judge less you be judged. If you are in love then be in love and let no one;s comments get involved.

If two people are in love to hell with what anyone else thinks. I am glad they were able to persevere. Their continued commitment to each other despite adversity is a testament to their love. This is yet another example of how love wins.

I didn’t know anything about this. While my religious beliefs make it strange for me, its none of my business and my opinion holds no merrit on their happiness. You have to live your own life and not care so much about what other people think and it sounds like they are doing just that.
