VIRAL: A Remarkable Love Story From A Christmas Box
There are a lot of love stories featured all around the web.
And for this yuletide season, another inspiring love story is making its rounds in the internet.
A love story that will make you think that true love really has its own ways of making two people meet amidst the distance and circumstances.
This story started because of an ordinary Christmas box.
Tyrel gave a Christmas box to a bible school situated in Manila, Philippines last 2000. But then, he left his photo inside the box and his address as well.
Tyrel was still 7 years old that time.
Joana, the recipient of the gift, sent a thank you letter for Tyrel but unfortunately, he was unable to receive it.
In 2011, exactly 11 years after the gift giving event, Joana was still eager to find Tyrel so he used the social networking site, Facebook to track Tyrel Wolfe.
Successfully, she found the right person she’s been looking for such a long time. She sent him a friend request and a message as well.
Tyrel got interested about the girl from the Philippines who sent him a friend request so he accepted it.
They started communicating since then. They realized that they had so much in common and eventually fell in love with each other.
Because of the strong urge of emotions, Tyrel tried to save every money he has and even worked part time jobs just to save money so he can go to the Philippines and ask the father of Joana if he can date her.
Fortunately, Tyrel saved enough money to go to the Philippines.
Tyrel and Joana was together for only 10 days in the Philippines. But then, they decided to settle down.
Again, Tyrel did the same thing, worked hard and save money, just to go back to the Philippines and propose to Joana.
Tyrel obtained a fiancée visa for Joana and they got married on October 5, 2014 in Tyrel’s place, Idaho.
On their wedding day, they asked their guests to bring Christmas boxes stating that they both known each other through Christmas boxes.
They gave the boxes for their event Operation Christmas Child at Samaritan’s Purse Headquarters.
Tyrel said that he never thought that the box he gave would bring much joy to his life.
