These 7 Best Same-Sex TV Weddings Are Truly Heartwarming To See, #6 Is So Lovely! (VIDEO)

By  | 7 years ago

Just recently, the Supreme Court of United States of America ruled that states MUST FULLY ALLOW same-sex marriages in a landmark.

The LGBT community celebrated the decision and their flags are flown all over some establishments all over America.

This is indeed one historic event that ever happened to the history of mankind.

Some bloggers and websites who are known supporters of marriage equality also made their own way of celebrating such great decision.

One of them is Hollywoodlife.Com who made a post about 7 same-sex TV weddings that you can also see below.

7 Best Same-Sex TV Weddings Ever

1) Mitchell and Cam, Modern Family

In the season five finale, our favorite Modern Family couple — sorry, Jay and Gloria and Claire and Phil — had the wedding of their dreams.

It took multiple attempts, thanks to crazy shenanigans, but daddy Jay helped pull it off.

2) Callie and Arizona, Grey’s Anatomy

Calzona forever! For a while, it looked like Callie and Arizona might not make it.

First, Arizona left Callie behind at the airport for Africa.

When she returned to Seattle, Callie was pregnant with Mark’s baby.

Callie also narrowly survived a car accident in season seven.

Despite their strife, Callie and Arizona married, with Bailey officiating the ceremony. Love wins.

3) Brittany and Santana, Glee

Just like Kurt and Blaine, Gleeks waited with bated breath for Brittany and Santana to tie the knot.

The final season of Glee featured one of the most heartfelt TV weddings ever.

Brittany and Santana wed in a double wedding with Kurt and Blaine.

Their sweet vows made our hearts melt. Great, we’re crying again.

4) Kurt and Blaine, Glee

This was a big moment for Klaine fans.

After years of ups and downs, these two finally tied the knot alongside Brittany and Santana.

Along with the rest of the Gleeks out there, we cried so many tears watching Kurt and Blaine say “I do.” Remember the first time Blaine and Kurt kissed? Tears. So many tears.

5) Stef and Lena, The Fosters

Kudos to Stef and Lena, they planned their wedding in less than a week.

There couldn’t have been a dry eye in the house watching these two exchange vows. They were so cute when they got their rings mixed up.

Plus, Jude was the ring-bearer!

6) Kevin and Scotty, Brothers & Sisters

Brothers & Sisters was such an underrated show.

In one of the family drama’s best moments, Kevin and Scott finally got married.

Kevin’s sister, Kitty, officiated the ceremony. It wasn’t just a pivotal moment for Brothers & Sisters; it was a pivotal moment for television.

7) Bianca and Reese, All My Children

This was a big one.

In 2009, Bianca and Reese married in daytime television’s first lesbian wedding.

It was magical.

Bianca and Reese were surrounded by their loved ones as they pledged themselves to each other.

“I promise to love you and devote myself to you,” Reese tearfully said.

“Because standing here with you, it’s where I belong.”

With the above 7 on-screen same-sex weddings, which ones are your favorite? Do you have any favorite that we should include at this list too?

I will always be partial to Cam and Mitchell! That is such a funny show and has pretty enjoyable dialogue. What a wonderful thing a wedding can be. Who doesn’t like a celebration of love, hope, and optimism? It brings out the optimist in us all.

I don’t know which one I love more. Blaine and Kurt or Cam and Mitchell. Blaine and Kurt seemed like they were always meant to be together. But, I love the hilarity of modern family with Cam and Mitchell. They are so funny!
