The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister is all set and ready to marry the love of her life. Pippa Middleton,33, will marry hedge fund manager James Matthews, 41 next month.

When is Pippa Middleton’s wedding?

According to the official report and records, Pippa Middleton and James Matthews will tie the knot on May 20. Pippa’s sister, Duchess Kate Middleton and husband Prince William will also attend the wedding ceremony. Prince Harry will also witness the event alongside with her girlfriend Meghan Markle, in which according to the rumors, are set to get married sometime soon as well. Prince George and Princess Charlotte will also take their part at their aunt’s wedding as page boy and bridesmaid. There’s no confirmation yet if the queen herself will attend the wedding event.

Where it will take place?

The wedding ceremony will be held at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire. The 12th-century Victorian church is located on a private estate owned by Tory MP Richard Benyon.

After the wedding ceremony, the reception will follow at Michael and Carole Middleton’s mansion in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

Will Kate Middleton take the role of the bridesmaid?

As we can all remember, Pippa was the bridesmaid of Kate at her Royal Wedding.  But it seems like Kate won’t return the favor as she confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge won’t take that bridesmaid role at her wedding day.

According to people close to the Middletons, Kate will take a backseat as she doesn’t want to upstage her sister at her biggest day ever. Royal reporter Judy Wade said in one interview:

“If your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible.”

Who is on the guest list?

Aside from the royalties who will surely attend the wedding ceremony, there are some people who are also invited at the wedding ceremony and after party. According to sources, Pippa Middleton might enforce a “no ring, no bring” rule which means guests can’t bring their partners if they are not yet married or engaged. This can create some sort of conflict for Prince Harry and girlfriend Meghan Markle. But who knows, they might be exempted at this rule.

Other famous friends of the couple are said to be invited at the wedding event, which includes Ben Fogle and Roger Federer.

Who is James Matthews

James Matthews is the elder brother of Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.  James is the CEO of Eden Rock Capital Management Group, which he named after his parents’ lavish resort in St Barts. James and Pippa are said to briefly dated way back 2012 but quickly called off the relationship after few months. In 2015, James and Pippa reconnected and soon after, got into a serious relationship. In July 2016, they announced their engagement:

“Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday 17th July and plan to marry next year,” a statement read.

Just like Prince William and Prince Harry, James Matthews also attended Eton College.
